X user @emuonpsp dug into the PlayStation Portal's innards and found it to be a glorified Android tablet. It runs a Snapdragon 6xx series from Qualcomm and Android 13. https://www.notebookcheck.net/PlayStation-Portal-Sony-s-latest-game-streaming-console-is-powered-by-a-mid-range-Qualcomm-SoC.768752.0.html
> Much like the Nintendo Switch (US$347 on Amazon), the handheld appears to be running a heavily modified version of Android
The Nintendo Switch does not run Android. It can be run on the models with the insecure bootloader, but it does not ship Android.
>and Bluetooth audio would be nice additions
Yeah jailbraking means that Bluetooth antennas can magically appear on the device! Woah!
OK here we go guys try to keep up.
NROACH-The article says UNLIKE the Nintendo switch.
QWE-They first reference the four port USB hub indicating one could possibly use the aforementioned ports to ADD a Bluetooth antenna and then jailbreak it to operate those antenna.
Keep working on that pesky reading comprehension guys. We're all pulling for ya.
I mean doesn't really need to be all the strong to do streaming ultimstely. It could have been a mid ranger from years ago and still do fine largely.
How about people just buy an Android tablet instead of wasting your time jailbreaking this useless piece of junk?
