Title: Researchers develop an OLED panel with a retractable bubble keyboard
Post by: Redaktion on May 01, 2023, 22:10:37

Designers from Carnegie Mellon University claim to have proven that the panels are compatible with fluid-filled bumps that can act as a keyboard. They are deployed via an innovative pumping mechanism that can cause them to inflate at least.

This is very neat, and I personally miss physical buttons. But I've seen something similar years ago, probably around 2010 where they were talking about this or again, something very similar. So won't hold my breathe to see if it ever comes to market.
