Title: ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity OC 24GB drops by 58 percent on Amazon
Post by: Redaktion on October 23, 2022, 17:49:56
While many retailers are facing GeForce RTX 4090 stock problems, quite a few RTX 3000-series video cards are available for generous discounts. This weekend's highlight is the discount offered by Amazon for the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity OC 24GB, which is down to US$999.99 from a list price of no less than US$2,399.99.

Ummm... I know it's probably some sponsored news, but showing 3090 "discounted" from 2,1k$ (!!!), when You can get a 4090 for around the same base price is a bit rude.

This is clearly an sponsored Post, it's like it is trying so hard to sell an overpriced last gen GPU.

Discounted?

More like sold at MSRP.

Call us out when it drops to 500$ or something like that.

The author here - the article is not a promotion paid by anyone, it's just a deal article. The problem with the RTX 4090 is that finding one in stock is very tricky these days, and good luck finding it for the MSRP, if you manage to find one. Is the US$2000+ price tag too high for the RTX 3090 in question here? Yes, it is. However, a 58 percent discount feels like at least a decent deal. And, @kek, if you mentioned the MSRP, I am sure you know that the RTX 3090 came with a US$1,500 MSRP.

Do an article on the current state of supply vs. demand. Pandemic constraints are clearing up. Rare metals and geo politics are being negotiated. Fabs are being built. Game releases for winter and spring are looking better than the past. Until then manufacturers are comfortable operating on demand rather than shoring up inventory. 2016 and 2017 were not that long ago when the market was saturated bringing costs down, way down; a business model that has since been avoided and is sure to be dismissed by the board for the foreseeable future.

Can we quit calling it sponsored "news" and call it what it is? It's a big ad pretending to be an article.

An excellent idea, thank you very much for the suggestion! Grabbing my hands on the data required for such an article, on the other hand, might prove to be a nearly impossible task.
@Josh: We are all entitled to have an opinion, so I won't argue with you. Have a great day!

Well that was short lived. I'm showing the price back up to "normal". Mistake on distributors part?
Title: Garbage Product

It's a Zotac... Look at the ratings by feature. Garbage. Why an "expert" would promote such a bad product is beyond me.

And as far as sponsored news, maybe you're not getting paid by Zotac but you've posted an affiliate link so you are getting paid if someone buys it.

I am not here to argue, so I won't, but please take a look at this link - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce_30_series - the launch MSRP for the RTX 3090 was US$1,499.
