With great power comes great responsibility and a substantial AC adapter. The GE67 sports a powerful 12th gen Core i7-12800HX CPU that's so demanding that it necessitated a ridiculously large 330 W AC adapter compared to the smaller 280 W one that shipped with the older GE66.https://www.notebookcheck.net/The-MSI-Raider-GE67-330-W-AC-adapter-is-so-fat-that-it-s-heavier-than-some-15-inch-laptops.634849.0.html
You can buy a ~450g GAN 330W adapter from China, it works well enough and about 1/3 the size of bundled adapter.
Somebody should notify Msi of the existence of Gallium Nitride...
looks exactly like the adapter I had for my old Dell XPS m1730. Im convinced that laptop gave me back issues.
This is about the same volume as a desktop SFX or 1U power supply. For a mobile device, power figures are becoming absurd. Also, it can not be cheap to replace, either.
Can you guys post some amazon link of a good replacement? the size is just ridiculously huge.
