Honda is expanding its electric car partnership with GM to include sub-US$30,000 EVs that the two carmakers plan to co-produce in the millions. The budget electric vehicles will be based on GM's Ultium platform and battery, but won't be hitting the market before 2027, giving Tesla plenty of time to counter with its promised US$25,000 car.
