Incredibly thorough testing and review. I know it may not be your target audience, but why not make all that data useful to non-tech-educated readers by comparing to other products, both high and low end, to give clarity to where this product stands in the big picture of all levels of products, and how much bang for the buck you get. While the data is has meaning to tech-educated readers, to the uneducated it's essentially meaningless without context. Which is a shame, because it's massive amounts of good data, sort of "going to waste"

Thank you for taking the time to do this comprehensive and incredibly useful benchmark review. I bought some of these from a reseller who re-badges them but the device is identical with an original MoreFine motherboard, so it's not a "knock-off".

One PC has Windows 11 Pro and has the fan on most of time, but I solved that with FanControl. The other PC started out as Debian Bookworm, but now I have Linux Mint 22 on it to try and isoltate thermal even and random shutdowns. I had email contact with MoreFine and found them to be responsive to my issues, but could not help me other than confirming I had the most current AMI UEFI/BIOS. I have been left to solve the problem myself. I finally got the temperature down to idling Tctl 31°C - by disabled ACPI in UEFI and allowed the AMD ppfeaturemask in grub to use all the power management features of AMD. I also installed Tlp and using custom optimizations and limiting the CPU frequency to 3 GHz, it's at acceptable levels and I can confirm this is indeed a "workhorse".

Overall, the MoreFine S500+ is a beast in a small box.

I know it's an old post, but hopefully my journey can help someone searching your review on this model. Your attention to detail should be the gold stand in unbiased reviews that tell everything, the good and the bad.
