Dell, Lenovo, and even Razer are now offering 16:10 business laptops. Will HP follow suit? We think there's a good chance of seeing more high-end laptops from HP sporting aspect ratios other than 16:9 like 16:10 or 3:2.

I've been waiting for something 16:10 or 3:2 and walk away from the Mac ecosystem. The Spectre series is one of my top considerations because of its similarity with the Macbooks. I'd be grabbing a Spectre this Black Friday sale if it had just 2 things: (1) AMD Ryzen CPU and (2) 16:10 or 3:2 screen.
There is a laptop made by HP with a 3:2 display; the HP Spectre x360 14. It has quad speakers setup, an amazing Spectre keyboard, and many other advantages. I've seriously been considering it.

Could have been almost perfect, but crappy Intel CPU... That Tiger Lake is just like 50% compared to the top of the line Ryzens in real workload, even at slightly higher consumption.
Unlike some others, I am not concerned with AMD versus Intel architecture. Frankly any of the latest generation systems work well and have strengths and weaknesses depending on the computing task at hand. I've had 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th generation Intel laptops over the past few years. Even though the processors have increased in speed the only thing I've noticed is better integrated graphics performance. As an engineer, my software is mostly computational and the graphics are just an improvement with 3D rendering. Unless you are a gamer, most of these newer systems have enough computing power. Often they lack RAM and storage, or have poor screens which hold back the user experience.
If you are looking for a good 3:2 laptop, the Huawei Matebook 14 2020 AMD is a pretty spectacular laptop for a pretty decent price.

On the one hand, yes. On the other hand - why support that predatory practices? One vendors' cpus (apus) are objectively better, but manufacturers keep ignoring them and releasing 95% of laptops with less efficient solutions from another vendor.
