This puts the new smartphone in the same ballpark as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, although the two devices use processors from different companies. The Redmi Note 9S is a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro for certain markets.

I am not the kind of user that does any gaming on my phone. Should users like me stick to the Note 8 Pro as the device wouldn't heat up with casual use? Would they have the same experience with either of these phones?
