The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X processor has been setting and breaking a whole handful of records over at HWBot, amply demonstrating the potency of Team Red's latest threat to Intel at the high-end of the CPU market. Eleven records were set with the 3970X, mostly in combination with an Asus ROG Zenith II Extreme TRX40 board, while an MSI Creator TRX40 motherboard was used for the 5.75 GHz overclock achievement.
