In addition this really looks like a likely patent infringement case, it wouldn't surprise me if it is pulled from the US Amazon site quickly.

Wrong. Simply go to potensic dot com, they are not hiding where they are. I bought an atom se 2 years ago. Best quadcopter I've purchased. While not the cheapest, it is definitely the best value going. And their customer service is also out of China, but I gave been treated extremely well. They even offered to replace my unit, when it was a cheap dollar store phone causing the issues, they still upheld their offer, as mine had one minor crash. Any correspondence was replied to promptly. As they are on the other side of Earth, and likely sleeping when you contact them, you'll have a reply when you wake the next day. DJI has some nice gear, but unless you're a brand hoar, it's just way over priced.
Patent infringement? Unlikely.
Off beat from their normal expertise....a bit. If you go to their website, and at the bottom, you can learn about this company, and whether you but anything or not, I bet you'll be intrigued by their main focus of business. Nice people, who wanted to tinker and offer a better deal than all the others.

The Potensic Atom 2 has started shipping and is now also available on Amazon. It's a relatively inexpensive drone that can also take sharp 8K photos, all while weighing under 250 grams.
