It is for android. And I believe much of rpcs3 code will soon be merged into desktop rpcsx too if it hasn't already.

Originally, the plan was for rpcsx to be a desktop Linux emu that only targeted PS4 and 5 emulation but it seems the plans have changed now.

Once and for all rpcsx is not rpcs3 !

Why saying the dev post on reddit? He is not rpcs3 dev .

Earlier in April 2025, the team behind RPCS3 introduced RPCSX-UI-Android, a new PS3 emulator for Android that replaces RPCS3-Android. Just a few days after the introduction, it was updated, and there are a good number of improvements.
