Quote from: Ry on April 19, 2025, 01:25:42The RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB is a disappointing card in many respects. The existence of a $300+ GPU with 8 GB of VRAM in 2025 is arguably bad. On top of this, there are no reviews of the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB, neither from us nor from premier tech YouTubers like Linus Tech Tips and Hardware Unboxed.

You do know that AMD is also releasing the 9060 with 8GB as well and this will ALSO BE $300 right..

LOL.

5060 Ti 8GB = $379, paying extra for a Ti with a useless amount of VRAM
9060 8GB = $269, not paying extra for an (admittedly still) useless amount of VRAM
IDK about you, but for most buyers in this price range, $110 is a big difference.

The RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB has been tested in a variety of games. When compared to the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB is reportedly quite a bit slower than its bigger brother in games that are heavy on the VRAM. Interestingly, the limited VRAM also seems to be a bottleneck in DLSS 4 Frame Generation.
