Went to a Xiaomi store in China in 2024 to have a look at the 2024 version.  The screen looked like s*** so hard to focus on any part of the image.  I don't trust nobody but BOE.  Tianma makes awful displays!  Xiaomi should bring back their proper brand laptops instead of the budget Redmi brand.  They will probably use a screen better than Tianma...

I wonder why there are no affordable laptops like this one.
Corners are cuts where for your average user it doesnt matter.

Case is nice, screen and speakers too and battery life acceptable. Fans are not loud and crazy... its hard to see any real downside.

Sure, there is no Thunderbolt or USB4 but for majority of people it will not matter.
