A small correction: this factory is not located in Budapest, but in a small town near Budapest, in Üllő.

Most PC manufacturers rely completely on ODM plants to make their PCs. Not so Lenovo. The biggest PC manufacturer by volume has a network of in-house factories all over the world - and since 2021, also in Europe. The 50,000 m² facility in the Hungarian capital Budapest produces ThinkSystem servers and Lenovo ThinkCentre desktop PCs.
