Before buying any card I will wait for a review from independent media and then I will make the decision. What is true is that I am not willing to pay the abysmal amounts that Nvidia pays. It seems to me that they are ripping us all off, especially for simply playing games.

"brings a less than 20% improvement"
Really? Wouldn't be nicer just to say the truth? And its 8% improvement only. Pathetic. AMD probably will compete them with ez, the price is the only question.

Reviewers and the leaker in this article is rightly ignoring frame generation. FRAME GENERATION IS NOT PERFORMANCE. It is a smoothing technique. it is meant to be used when you already have a high framerate (>60FPS) to get to your monitor's refresh rate. So using multi framegen to get from 30FPS to 120FPS will feel like you are playing over a laggy internet connection. (yes I'm that old. the internet used to be very slow.)
So to be clear, the technology has its uses but at this time, counting it as performance is misleading or even downright lying.
When Nvidia starts to make those frames responsive and actually usefull for things other than smoothing out the framerate and making people feel good about that tiny number in the top right corner of the screen, then maybe we can start looking at it as performance.
