Apple phones are shitty. Samsung does the R&D that Apple copies. Apple hasn't innovated since Steve Jobs was alive. They sit back and offer technology their competitors offer only years later when the cost has dropped enough.

They copy each other but quite possibly the most dumb feature Samsung could copy is the requirement to confirm shutdown of the phone or defaulting multiple button holds just to bring the shutdown screen on.

Shits me the most when I have to use a phone from these brands. Terrible design.

Indeed.

Keep in mind that these are "smart phones" and the mix/match of elements & features SOMEBODY has likely already done before - who cares?

Everyone copies everyone else. Sometimes improving on and other times simply outright.

Who cares?

Who cares about Macworld? Like Apple never copied anything... 😆

Besides bringing some hardware changes, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series introduces many new features with One UI 7. Macworld argues that "over a dozen" of these have been copied from the iPhone.
