This irritates me. And makes me lose faith in team red. Reason they are waiting is so they can move the needle as close as they can to get as much from us as they can. When instead they should breakdown there cost man hours r and d so on and so forth. Come up with a price that way the honest way. I knew they power and success would get to them. Typical!

Are manufacturers waiting for the import tarriff policies of the new US administration to be clarified?  If so, brands will wait to decide US pricing.

Knowing how cards are tweaked right up until the last minute, and knowing that it's implausible that retailers would just give free storage space to AMD for an entire quarter, why give credence to this without something to corroborate it: a photo, at a minimum?

It's very apparent. There's already pictures of 9070 labelled bulk boxes that retailers got floating around and reports of said retailers sitting on their stock until the pricing is negotiated. AMD officially delaying the launch after their AIBs already made this posts saying that they'd at the very least soft launch this week only proves it further.

Drivers are probably not ready, and the 1st benchmarks are the ones that stay on people's minds, so... Most probably that (and pricing).

During the official reveal of the RDNA 4 GPUs at CES 2025, AMD confirmed a Q1 2025 launch. However, aside from revealing a vague release date target, the company has remained tight lipped on other details. Interestingly, MicroCenter reportedly already has supply of RX 9000 GPUs, making AMD's decision to push the RDNA 4 launch to March 2025 seem like a sudden development.
