Idk about that comment on the 16gb. 550 to 750 (more likely 800+ for aib models for the 5070ti) is a pretty big jump. But yeah, I really hope that AMD don't do their usual Nvidia-50 for their pricing. They need to realize that people would rather spend just a little more but be "safe", so they need to push it a bit further down.

Agreed. They also need to get it to reviewers immediately, even if people can't buy it right away: no embargoes, either. If it's worth buying, people need to know so they can at least put in their pre-orders. Otherwise, that itch is just going to send everyone who can afford 5070 and up to whatever green team card they can afford.

If Amd seriously want to cut into Nvidia's dominance then they need to be undercutting the 5070 by a larger margin (closer to the likely price of the eventual 5060) or most buyers are just going to go for what is seen to be the safe route of the 5070 or if they think 16gb will be enough of an issue, biting the bullet and stepping up to the 5070Ti.

A new leak from Chiphell tells us how much AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT could cost. Apparently, it will be slightly more affordable than Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070.
