Don't know, do we really need this race of brightness on watches/smartphones? I feel like current state is more than enough - I don't have issues seeing the content. I have to manually limit the brightness on my galaxy watch during sunny summer days because I use Always On Display and it auto boosts brightness in these conditions and kills battery before the end of day.

Targeted audience here - people who love and use spy watches, err I mean smart watches - almost certainly do have as many of them love to be tracked every single second or their lives.

True that, although using Ublock Origin is enough to easily bypass that and view without any need for registering an account (works in Firefox Mobile too).

Everyone, especially anything from Meta, doesn't have all social media accounts, or even want one, to view just a few seconds clip.

Just an FYI, if it requires a subs just to view its content, that many other spots do not require, it would be best to state that in your article and/or choose an open media source that doesn't has this restriction.
