Quote from: uISO on January 09, 2025, 11:25:53How about full keycap sets for Keychron's current available ISO languages ES, FR, PT, and IT; so one could purchase an ISO keyboard in either DE, UK, Swiss, or Nordic and replace the keycaps.

Maybe Keychron should start thinking something like varmilo.com/products/minilo98-pro, with a generic Swedish-ISO keyboard sold together with different languages keycap sets: 1) ISO-DE/DK/NO/SW/IS, 2) ISO-ES/IT/PT 3) ISO-UK/HU and 4) ISO-FR/BEL.

Keychron does sell a lot of its boards in barebones versions, and there are ISO/JIS/ANSI kits on the site. I think it's difficult to cover all layouts without going the full custom route, but I think offering barebones kits is a good compromise.

Quote from: TheDood on January 09, 2025, 23:37:20These are dead on arrival. Keychron polling rate is 1,000 hz. The 80HE polling rate is 8,000 Hz. With several other wooting options that have higher polling rates. The wooting software is also easy to use, works on multiple operating systems, and settings are saved directly to the keyboard. Keychron is way way behind on both aspects.

I've only seen a handful of HE boards claim stuff like 16 kHz polling, and those are all questionable. The Wooting 60HE was the cream of the crop for gaming keyboards just the other day, and it is still an excellent performer even with "only" 1000Hz polling. Imho, for anyone but the top 0.1% of pro gamers, 8 kHz polling is a gimmick that most won't notice.

P1 is almost perfect for me - single keyboard to do everything, only End key is missing. I'll wait for response from Nuphy, they are usually better with design, and then buy the best.

Keychron is generally pretty good about having multiple layouts, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them launch ISO versions in a few months.
