If only these Snapdragon X APU's had decent iGPU's.

However without a decent iGPU they might still make awesome Linux machines.

A 12-13" tablet with this SD X SoC would be a very tempting alternative to iPad Pro and you would get mouse support, usb ports and a real OS.

While Intel and AMD seems to be content to serve their newest CPU technology only in the high-end part of the market, Qualcomm is attempting to capture the low end as well. The new Qualcomm Snapdragon X, with its eight Oryon CPU cores, is meant to take market share in the sub $600 device class.
