It has been 9 years since anyone has released an 8-9 inch tablet wIth an OLED screen.

Galaxy Tab S, 2560x1600, OLED, 8.4"
Galaxy Tab S2, 2048x1536, OLED, 8.0"
Huawei matepad series, 2560x1600, 8.4", ips...
700jillion Amazon 8.4", 1920x1200, 8.4", ips...

All 60hz.

Lenovo has their 8.8", 2560x1600, 165hz tablet, with SD 8gen3, 16gh ram, but.... Also ips, not oled.

THERE DOES NOT EXIST any small form factor OLED tablets.
You'll just have to buy a folding phone!

So they are making a giant tablet that is already too big to comfortably handle like the Samsungs are but still need a notch?? What gives?

Tablets are following the phone trend. They keep getting bigger and more expensive. Soon they will be TV sized (still with a stupid notch) and cost 5x as much as a TV.

Somebody please bring back the smaller 8-9" tablet that doesn't fold with Oled but with high refresh and a powerful chip and no notches. Why does that combo not exist anywhere?

Oppo's next Android tablet might be a Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra challenger in much more than name, according to a new leak. There are hints that the "Pad 3 Ultra" could have the same kind of OLED display with extra-thin bezels as Samsung's current flagship slate. Then again, the upgrade could come with the same tell-tale feature as its rival.
