What difference does it make, those numbers are only when you are using the SLC cache in sequential reads. In real world, it would have not much difference than an ssd half the speed.

640K is all you need.

The problem isn't about how much you need but the fact that these companies are overselling what they have. The speeds are only that on a brand new drive when copying huge files. But in real world it may even be worse than a drive half the speed.

PNY touts its latest solid-state drive (SSD) as capable of "Next-Gen Speeds" thanks to its new NVMe PCIe Gen5 x4 interface. The OEM asserts that it is the ideal new PC upgrade for professionals with its TCG Opal 2.0 spec. The CS2150 also supports Microsoft DirectStorage for potentially enhanced loading times in Windows gaming.
