FreeBSD's third release of the stable/14 branch, labeled 14.2 and dedicated to the memory of Mike Karels, arrives with OpenZFS 2.2.6, OpenSSL 3.0.15, and support in the installer for downloading and installing the needed firmware packages after deploying the base system. OCI container images are now also available.
