@Andreas Osthoff:
The MBP M4 Pro got a final dispay score of 95.
The MPB M4 only got a score of 91. If they are the same displays as you write in the article I think the score should be the same?

Quote from: Matt Schmidt on November 29, 2024, 16:30:04NBC, do you plan to review the 12 Core Pro?

Just Josh YT channel claims it runs hotter that 14 Core, while being equally loud. Seems odd.

Also, could you test how these new power plans affect battery life.

This is because the base M4 has only one fan instead of 2.

12 Core is "pro" and it has two fans,

Are you going to publish Cinebench R24 ST/MT power draw results for the base M4 - either mini or MBP? I know a lot of your comparisons are for the older CB R23 benchmark, but CB R24 power draw numbers would enable comparisons with Snapdragon Elite results and some of your other efficiency analysis articles.

Last year, Apple offered its MacBook Pro 14 with the regular M3 SoC for the first time—the same one as in the MacBook Air models. This year's update brings the new M4 SoC with significantly more performance and improved connectivity.
