I bought this yesterday, disappointed cause it's not portable. You have to be by your ps5 to play the disk games. It's really just a mirror. If my fiance plays the portal I can't watch Netflix in the same room. Do better. It's a very nice but want it to do XY and Z. The graphics are incredible and I love it but I was thinking more like the Nintendo switch and psp....
The "steaming device" we know that to be the Steam Deck, this streaming device is completely different though. It is great nonetheless, as in my view it was about time handheld gaming made a real come back. I fondly remember the times of the Nintendo Gameboy, Sega Gamegear, and later the PSP and Vita and Nintendo DS, and then a huge gap and nothing really interesting (some extremely expensive units like GPD). Now it seems like there are handhelds everywhere and I am not complaining, it is nice to see big companies invest in this market especially when there are already mobile phones that do some of the same. This way at least, they can specialise and improve small form tech. I'm hoping to see Max-Q tech on next gen handheld, which due to size should be possible, but not on phones.
A recent rumor has suggested that Sony may be working on a gaming handheld that can locally run PS5 games. Now, a new report is hinting that the company is getting ready to launch a PlayStation Portal refresh.
