As to supporting 'data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps' data transfer speed, this is all marketing bull. USB2 is supporting up to 480Mb/s and you get, on average 1/10th of that, i.e., 100Mb/s IF you're lucky.
Hey are you confusing mbps for MB/s? Data transfer speeds are in mbps(megabits per second) and when we see the speed on our devices it's in MB/s(megabytes per second ) the rated speed should be divided by 8 to get the transfer speed so in this case it would be 10/8=1.25 which means the maximum real world speed would be 1.25 gigabyte per second. I have a sharge disk enclosure that's also 10gbps and paired with a sabrent rocket 1tb Im able to see 1.1GB/s when transferring large files
