Why anyone buys Google kit now is beyond me. Unless you have a huge amount of expendable cash and don't intend on ever keeping anything for long, then you just can't trust that your device will still be working in the near future.
Ironically I still have 2 Nexus 7 2013 tablets that run very well with a custom ROM, showing how good Google once was at making superb bits of kit.
While there are rumors about Google releasing a Pixel Tablet 2, a new report suggests there won't be a successor after that. This info is allegedly coming from sources that are "close to the project."
