It's almost redundant to point this out, but Github is owned by Microsoft, which created and is marketing Copilot+, both of which are tightly (and HEAVILY) integrated into Visual Studio to the point that even if you don't want to use it and try to deactivate it - it's still in your face all the time.

With a study sample of 202 developers, GitHub set out to assess the readability, reliability, maintainability, and conciseness of code written with and without the help of Copilot.
