Also, the way you wrote "Police may now be towing Tesla vehicles to download Sentry Mode footage" makes it sound like this it something that the police didn't do previously, but now have to start doing because of the update.🙄

Thanks for the misleading title. The update will help reduce Sentry mode battery drain, not end it. And just how much it will help remains to be seen.

Police may now be towing Teslas to download Sentry Mode footage as evidence in crime scene investigation, but the option has been a real battery hog up until now.
