Refresh rates over 120Hz are easily discernable to the human eye. This is objective fact proven by science. There's no marketing involved.

And someone who has eaten science and studied science all his life is telling you this is nothing but marketing Bullshitism. Read the study again. There you go BOLD again. Study the study again if you will

With slow eyes and slow brain even 30 Hz is enough though.

Quote from: Eric on November 13, 2024, 17:46:17I bet most humans can't perceive the difference.

Beyond 90 Hz, there is no real benefit as the brain takes 10+ milliseconds to process the visual information.

🙄

You're right, to be generous you can go to 144Hz above that it just marketing bullshit or BullShitism

Anything above 120Hz or 140 Hz is for marketing Bull Shitism
It does not make a dent of a difference above 120HZ

There is quite noticeable difference between 90 and 240. Barely any past 240 though but that's not important, what's important is reducing input lag by pushing a lot of fps. Plenty of fps + high refresh rate = ideal (especially when you cap it to 2% below your max refresh rate for high and stable 0.1 and 1% lows).
