I have to wonder about the mental fortitude of someone that thinks Zen 5 is bad because of gaming.  So much obsession with a child's thing. I game on a 5800X and it can play anything I throw at it at 1440p, and Zen 5 destroys Zen 3. So yeah, even a "pathetic" 9700X will be more than good enough for those that live in the real world.
