Well, they are suing. Remains to see what happens then, but I think they will lose. Anyway, as long as TikTok doesn't get banned for the masses, it's not such a big loss for them.

Since the Canadian government considers the establishment of TikTok Technology Canada Inc. by ByteDance Ltd. an endeavor that poses a national security risk, the business will be disolved. However, while TikTok offices in Canada are shutting down, the mobile app and the web services can still be accessed without restrictions.
