The Q4 update for the Garmin Edge 540, Edge 840 and Edge 1040 cycling computers has begun to roll out. Currently available only to beta testers, the software brings many modifications to the gadgets, including a change to the Media Transfer Protocol. As such, there is a slightly different process for installing this update.
