There isn't any point comparing to intel in the first place. They've not been relevent ever since 14nm++ skylake cores back 5 years ago.

Compared to Oryon v2 used in Snapdragon 8 Elite however, Zen 5 leaves a lot to be desired from a performance per watt perspective.

Intel had already had a bad reputation for 2 years because of the Intel Core 13,14 that burned, suffered high voltages, and some suffered oxidation, but with these Intel Core Utra 200V they are a real shame, they perform less than their brothers from a year ago. Market shares have already been seen and in 1 week none of the new Intel chips have been sold in Germany, this processor is stillborn because Nova lake changes everything, it forces you to change the motherboard, RAM, etc...
These new Intels perform less than the AMD ZEN 5 Ryzen 7 9800X3D, they consume more energy and produce more heat, these are the reasons why NOBODY BUYS INTEL.

Yet, everyone compare Intel Core 200U to gaming AMD line X3D (instead of X line) and bashes it for being slow in games, where actually it performs in games really close to AMD X line.

Are you guys really that dumb to compare an 8 core cpu to 14 and 20 core cpu for multi-core tasks? Of course the 14700 and 265 are much faster on average in all core workloads, how is that surprising and how does that make the 9800X3D bad. All that matters is the 9800X3D means finally X3D modesl are no longer one trick ponies, just for gaming. AMD has greatly improved performance so that for heavy workloads it's no longer slower than the standard models. If I am focused more on productivity than gaming I'll get a 9900X/9950X and it looks like you can now get the X3D version with the only downside being price.

The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is set to see the light of day on the 7th of November. The 120 W chip is expected to arrive with 8 Zen 5 cores and a boost clock of 5.2 GH. In a recent Blender benchmark apperance, the 9800X3D thrashes the 7800X3D will failing to keep up with Intel's Arrow Lake-S.
