A taxi with zero supervision sounds disgustingly unhygienic. The passengers immediately before you could have been smoking fentanyl or having sex with a prostitute, then you hop in.🤮

This is a reply to KenMac.
You said the problem at the end of you comment. The key is to,"make money, not solve problems."? That's what is wrong with society today. Too much,"want", for money. Not enough need for,"solutions".

As a professional driver who owns a private car service,I would like to know if this Robo Taxi inspects, wipes and cleans after each ride to illimate germs.
Also, does a computer care about my life?

Amazing how many people have better ideas than Tesla, yet still haven't done anything similar.

i think the Robotaxi design was the easiest for the general public to accept. front-end looks familiar. rear-end hatch with loads of cargo space. generally seems like it could ferry riders to in-town destinations all day. but still seems like a 2-door, 4-seater EV would've made more sense for a more affordable (drivable) model in the lineup.

i would whole-heartedly accept it, IF the driverless taxi can safely handle school-duty transportation - pickup-dropoff for middle- & high school kids.

The Cybercab is exquisitely fitted to the need. In the US, about 95% of vehicles have just 1 or 2 people on board. The very large storage of the Cybercab is ample to carry a week's groceries for a family, or a Christmas tree in a box from Walmart, or 2 week's luggage for a couple to the airport.

And it looks stylish and familiar, keys to rapid acceptance. The objective is to make money soon. Not to 'solve' traffic.

Ridiculous.
Even aside that robo taxi is not a very good way to try and solve traffic, this one in particular makes little sense.
Why is it not a shuttle? Why does it even have a car shape, when there is no steering wheel or anything?

They could have made a simpler and safer vehicle, with more storage, in same footprint.

This was clearly forced hand to show it off so they had to cobble SOMETHING.

The Robotaxi design lines actually look much less edgy and more Tesla-like in broad daylight, but the giant wheels keep the futuristic vibe going.
