This man can't even do simple math. "$120" is not what recall $1000-$820.

The 7900 xtx isn't a bad card at all and has performed well in some of my computers. My 4080s outpace it in every metric though. The 4080 super is a a wee bit more powerful than the 4080 so I'd imagine it would perform even better but I don't have any to say for sure. The lower price definitely makes the 7900 xtx more tempting if you need to save a few bucks.

I'm running a 7900xt for months with zero issues. From heavy hardcore gaming, up to decoding/encoding and heavy 4k RAW video editing. Zero issues so far.

I think you're mixing up the old 5xxx and 6xxx drivers and the issues they had back then with today's GPUs.

AMD's most powerful RDNA 3 GPU, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX has now dropped to less than $850 on Amazon. The RX 7900 XTX is on par with the more expensive RTX 4080 Super in rasterization. So, the reduced price has made the GPU an excellent choice for high-end PC builds.
