Ein Fan von Black Myth: Wukong hat eine 2D-Pixel-Demo des Spiels für PC und Android erstellt, die einen nostalgischen Blick auf die atemberaubende Grafik und die Kämpfe des Originals erlaubt (bisher nur Kapitel 1). Die von 火山哥哥 entwickelte Free-to-Play-Demo fängt dabei den Charme klassischer Retro-Spiele recht gut ein.
