Everyone loves Han Solo... so dint force us to play Hannah Solo. Give players choice! Release male & female. Some people want to more identify with the player they are playing, and while some enjoy watching the player as a different gender... that includes woman who enjoy watching a man character.

IDK - maybe it is just me but I ALWAYS opt for a 'female' when playing 3rd person games.
(and often on 1st person games)

Like - do I REALLY want to be peering at some dudes backside the entire play though?

I agree - give players a CHOICE!

LOL!

YMMV.

Kay Vess is a canon Star Wars character. She could appear in other Star Wars content. That's why it has to be her and no one else.

If there was a game, and the only thing to do in it was be wet, and have a dream ..

Ubisoft would screw it up.

Everything the developer Massive touches, has potential, shows it's on the right path, and promptly crashes and burns. It's what they do. Make something with the potential to be good, fail to meet expectations which from the outside appears to be on purpose, then lie to people with the promise of course correction. They never listen to the players feedback and just do whatever they want to do, even if it means it will make the product worse. Don't get your hopes up about Star wars outlaws, just like the rest of their games this is about as good as it will ever be, it's down hill from here. All the complaints regarding outlaws funnily enough are the same from the division 2 and some from the division. Thus indicating they either learn nothing or don't care.

Hopefully Ubisoft will do the same for Outlaws as they did for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. They fixed that game after about 18-24 months to the point where it should have been upon release. I just couldn't get on with it initially, but coming back maybe a year later I played the game for hours and hours when time allowed.

I like the look of Outlaws, but once the price has dropped towards the £20 or so mark, I'll buy into that universe.

The sad thing is that Ubisoft will takeaway the wrong thing from this. They're already blaming fans expectations.

Like no, maybe if you gave your games the time to cook and intelligent choices they need, maybe you'd make a decent game.

Star Wars Outlaws has reportedly failed to Ubisoft's expectations as one month sales figure has now appeared online. Additionally, to address the issues plaguing the game, Ubisoft has published a roadmap of updates for the game that are set to go live over the next two months.
