Mit dem Galaxy A16 5G soll Samsung seinen ohnehin schon starken Update-Support in der Mittelklasse weiter ausbauen, denn das Gerät soll ganze sechs Jahre lang mit Betriebssystem-Updates und Sicherheits-Patches versorgt werden. Auch bei der Ausstattung sind mehrere Upgrades zu erwarten.
