AMD is doing an immense job with its mid-range graphics cards, all of which outperform Nvidia's mid-range cards and are reasonably priced, enough to play at 1080p and 2k, even though RT cards are in worse condition. I'd rather spend $500 less on an AMD card that I can play all AAA games with.
The newly announced OneXGPU 2 features the latest AMD Radeon RX 7800M. In a 3DMark Time Spy benchmark run, the eGPU beat the Nvidia RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with around a 16% higher score.
