Soo to save costs, Samsung decided to
- reuse the screen and design
- ditch Qualcomm im favor of Mediatek
- cut the lower-priced Tab S10 from the portfolio
YET
- they won't not even use the newest, much more efficient Dimensity 9400
AND
- will raise the already outrageous price by 100€!

Way to go, Samsung! Surely this will win over customers feom Apple. "All the cost-saving constraints, and none of the benefits of decade-long innovation!"

It is insane when you can get a Dimensity 9300 tablet from Chinese manufacturers for cheaper, with a superior 3:2 (15:10, instead of 16:10) aspect ratio, and top-notch hardware.

In my uneducated view, the tablet market is plateauing now.  Manufacturers would need to reinvent new helpful ways for people to interact with tablets in their lives.  The hardware is sufficient for day-to-day usage, but the software needs attuning to support the anchors (mobile phone and computer).  Most people own a mobile phone, and a computer already.  Not all need a tablet.

Samsung already has a great tablet. I own S9+Ultra. Keyboard not great, but real question is what do you use it for? I really don't use mine much. They need to focus more on use cases and then adapt technology and functions to match.
I won't upgrade until have have more demonstrated use cases.
Thoughts? Dedicated video meeting platform?
Easy to connect 2nd monitor for laptop?
Offer accessory graphics tablet to use with pen and screen on stand?
Extra monitor mount to attach to existing desktop setup?
Super integration with home video security system?
Hope something comes or I may abandon altogether. Ipads and Tabs.

They are obsessed with NOT copying Apple.

CPUs are old, updates are quarterly not monthly. The only good thing about S9 compared to iPad is you can use it as a Linux PC. Not so much in case of S10 because weird CPU will not have proper GPU support in Linux.
I'd pick iPad over Galaxy Tab every day and I've actually done it last month.

Not sure where Samsung thinks they are going here... the chip choice really can't compete with the apples M4 so they aren't trying on performance... their aspect ratio is best for watching movies which can be done with MUCH less expensive tablets while getting more awkward as the size increases.  I have an S8 and S8 Ultra.  I would like the water resistance of the S9 but I use the S8 Ultra as an external monitor most the time rather than a tablet, its just awkward to hold/carry. The iPad Pro 13 is much less awkward.  Dropping the S10 is a mistake, unless they are going to a 3:2 or 4:3 aspect ratio with the S10+

Advertising with the worth aspect: the camera bump.

The prices are exaggerated 5 times.

Samsung is getting very arrogant. Their Apple obsession seems to include copying the worst of that company.

A new leak has now revealed even more information on Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 series. Two tablets are expected, with pricing seemingly set to start at under €1300 while going all the way up to over €2000.
