The first tri-display was first introduced by Visionox a few years ago to be honest.

I guess Visionox just finally got tired of waiting on Apple to make them a display global force due to Apple's rigorous testing.

So, I expect the worst yield from this first batch from this assembly line.

You're right, corrected. However, the reason why I don't count it as the first tri-folding device is because just like the previous iteration, the second one won't likely make it past the concept stage. Thanks for the comment regardless :)

At the time of writing, Huawei's Mate XT, the world's first tri-folding smartphone, has generated over 1.7 million reservations on VMall within a single day. The device's standout design has attracted substantial attention ahead of its official launch on September 10. Reservations will be open until September 19, 2024.
