Having bought one of these (Nov 24), the max screen brightness is much higher, I'm unable to measure but would estimate over 1000 nits, comparing to a Pixel 7 Pro, there is also the sunlight mode that boosts further. Camera takes very clear pics, appreciate updates may have improved things. The device does not however support the Qualcomm wireless codecs AptX or AptX HD (those are the only two that I can test, it does offer HD AAC).
For a phone with 3.5mm, strong processor, good amount of ram and storage at such price I would love to buy But you can't find those in the middle east/asia
HTC is not completely abandoning its smartphone business in 2024 and is once again launching an upper mid-range smartphone on the market with the HTC U24 Pro. Current design is combined with old virtues such as a 3.5 mm audio port and a notification LED. Will it make the leap into the modern age?
