Ahh so a 'Switch2' may or not be announced soon...
Forgetting of course the 'large grain of salt' needed with regard to the rumors, one might consider the timing of any eventual new product release and how it might line up (or not!) with seasonal buying habits of the public.
Namely announcing in Sept 24 and delivering in 25 misses the all important December shopping season. (or pushes to Dec 25 shopping season)
Considering how powerful the handheld competition's hardware is I'd expect whatever Nintendo eventually releases will be very under powered (however much better than current Switch).
Of possible interest - who do we think they went with this time? Samsung? Nvidia? Qualcomm? Mediatech?
I could care less about a new Nintendo Switch 2. The only *hopeful* good anticipated news about this thing is that many would hope that NVIDIA could also announce (finally) a new NVIDIA's Shield (extremely past due) with AV1 support, much bigger RAM, larger storage, TRUE (FEL) DoVi (not weak streaming services DoVi), drop Google's play store garbage (and unwanted / unnecessary pre-installed garbage apps/software, ect.) DLSS/Tensor cores, ect.
The official Nintendo Switch 2 reveal could be on the horizon as revealed by industry sources. The timeline for the announcement matches up with Nintendo's previous statement regarding official news about it's next-generation console.
