Der neueste Tamagotchi besteht aus Eierschalen – passend für das eierförmige Gadget, das durch dieses Material umweltfreundlicher werden soll. Das virtuelle Haustier soll gleichermaßen Spielzeug wie Retro-Fashion-Statement sein, dieses Modell verzichtet aber auf WLAN, im Gegensatz zu einigen aktuellen Tamagotchi.
