The T14s Gen 6 officially sports the AMD Strix Point chips. You can see my reasoning about it below:

"After a bit of deep searching and scrolling around the internet, I can officially confirm that the next T14s Gen 6 launching at IFA 2024 will be sporting the latest Strix Point chips now.

So what did I do?

First off, I looked through Geekbench - an article was previously made about a Lenovo 21M1 having Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 (still called 160 back then). I remembered that Lenovo 2NXX series was for ThinkPad series and the fact it was labelled 21M1 indicated this was a ThinkPad too.

Indeed, the fact it was a 2NXX series laptop and also came with PRO chips indicated that this was definitely a ThinkPad with STX.

Next, I checked a parts list site. EMPR is one of the authorized parts partner for Lenovo in Australia. I checked their website and in the screens replacement section, it indicated the existence of model 21M1 AND 21M2. As models 21N1 and 21N2 are taken by the Snapdragon series chips, it does confirm that the other T14s Gen 6 model takes code 21M1 and 21M2 and are thus by extension AMD models.

Lastly, I spotted the same model number on some Polish site that seems to be an official partner of Lenovo and is selling warranty upgrades. The model name listed, T14s Gen 6 AMD seems to confirm my suspicions.

And it is confirmed - the T14s Gen 6 will be coming with AMD chips. The launch of STX was scheduled for 2H 2024 anyways thus it was branded Gen 6 rather than Gen 5 - a move I can absolutely understand but found a bit confusing, especially when Gen 5 got AMD's new chips. I'm guessing they didn't release T14s Gen 5 with AMD because HPT was just a refresh after all and there was no changes to upgradability. But that's just my take."

Lenovo has not outlined any plans for IFA 2024 yet. Nonetheless, Evan Blass has leaked images of countless new products, including an x86-based version of the ThinkPad T14s 6th Gen. New Legion Go accessories are on the way too, as well as updated IdeaPad, ThinkBook and Yoga options.
