Nintendo has extended its PlayVS e-sports partnership to develop competitive gamers by providing free Nintendo Switch consoles and games to needy middle and high schools. The three-year effort to establish competitive gaming teams has resulted in the creation of 10,500 high school teams nationwide playing over 73,000 matches.
