The Nvidia Earth-2 platform has just become even more powerful thanks to StormCast which is a new AI model for emulating atmospheric dynamics at a scale "larger than storms but smaller than cyclones" with speed and precision reportedly so good, traditional CPU-powered techniques stand no chance against it. Nvidia names Taiwan's National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Reduction as one of the first institutions to employ this new technology.
