I don't need a big, fancy display. Give me something that I can run with for 100 kms without my arm getting tired.. maybe I'm in the minority here.

Use watch face with as much black as possible and new screen will consume less than the old one.

I just Hope  the new screen won't drain battery.
The 7 has a spectacular battery life. I don't need sharp smartphone like style color on a watch I'm using for fitness.

According to new rumours, Garmin could be planning to equip its upcoming Fenix 8 smartwatches with larger displays than their Fenix 7 predecessors. Achieved through a more modern-looking design, the larger displays are also expected to move away from MIP displays to AMOLED equivalents.
